My hero,
What you did for your people is priceless
I was struck dumb & left speechless
When I saw you with hands crossed
And raised above your head
Advancing towards the finishing line
The commentators thought you were celebrating
For winning silver at the Olympic suits you fine
They never realized you were protesting
Against killings, repression and injustices
And speaking on the behalf of the millions
My hero,
I have no words for you to praise
You stood on the side of your people
At the right time & at the right place!
